TMB Solution (500 mL Part A & 500 mL Part B)

Description: 

TMB (3,3’, 5, 5’ - Tetramethyl - benzidine) is a non-carcinogenic chromogen, which is widely used in ELISA where Horseradish Peroxidase is applied.  The product is comprised of two components: TMB Solution A and TMB Solution B.

Procedure:

Mix one part TMB Solution A with one part TMB Solution B together in a clean container. Mix completely, 15 minutes prior to use. This solution can now be applied to the wells as substrate.

Stability: Both TMB Solution A and TMB Solution B are stable for 24 months at 4 ^oC.

Package Size: 500 mL X 1 (TMB Solution A), 500 mL X 1 (TMB Solution B)

Storage: Store both TMB Solution A and TMB Solution B at 4 ^oC, avoiding direct light.  Once mixed use within 2 hours, continuing to avoid direct light.

Precautions: 

TMB Solution A contains 20% Acetone, so keep away from sources of heat or flame. 

TMB Solution is contaminated if colour turns blue - Do not use.
