Description
Recombinant human IGF-1 analogue is a substitute for natural human IGF-1, produced by recombinant expression in E. coli. IGF-1, as an important mitogenic growth factor, is commonly used as a supplement in chemically defined media for mammalian cells, which can significantly increase protein yield. Compared with similar additives for chemically defined media, such as insulin and natural IGF-1, recombinant human IGF-1 analogue exhibits higher in vitro biological potency and stability, thus enhancing the effect and reducing the addition amount. Recombinant human IGF-1 analogue is compatible with cell types including CHO, HEK293, Vero, MDCK, and fibroblasts.
