Description
Recombinant Human bFGF (basic fibroblast growth factor) is expressed in E. coli. As a heparin-binding growth factor, it can stimulate the proliferation of various cells in vitro, including mesenchymal, neuroectodermal, and endothelial cells, and also exhibits potent angiogenic activity in vivo. bFGF can synergize with the BMP antagonist noggin to maintain the undifferentiated proliferation of human embryonic stem (hES) cells under feeder-free conditions.
- Reconstitution solution: PBS.
